CHOP Toy Drive
Dec 2-13
Thousands of children visit CHOPs many facilities each year, they have an ongoing need for new toys, craft supplies, books, video games and movies. This wish list provides information about what kinds of toys/materials they are most in need of at any given time; however, infant toys and adolescent activities are always needed.
For the safety of all patients, all donations must be new and safe (non-toxic). CHOP recommends that all items are purchased directly from their wish list, including brand names, as they know these are the safest items.
Start your shopping now! Beginning Dec 2nd there will be collecting bins in the BHES lobby!

Clearances
As of July 2016, LMSD requires all volunteers to obtain and submit Tier 1 Background Clearances. If you plan to volunteer, you MUST have clearances! Examples of the types of rolls requiring a volunteer to submit clearances include homeroom parents, classroom volunteer assistants, recess and library volunteers, and chaperones for field trips, just to name a few.
Lower Merion School District has implemented the Raptor System, a new volunteer management system. Anyone who would like to volunteer must register through this system.
*If you are already registered as a volunteer, your clearance documentation will carry over, all you will need to do is verify your name and contact information.
*If you are a new volunteer, you will need to obtain all of your clearances prior to registration in the volunteer management system.
Visit our link for more information, and instructions on how to easily submit your clearance forms.
